As one of the first group of “excellent” tourist cities in the country, Shenyang is home to over 110 national A-level tourist attractions, including three UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites –– Shenyang Palace Museum, Zhaoling Tomb, and Fuling Tomb of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
This year, Shenyang municipal commission of tourism has recommended more than 100 summer tourism activities based on 12 themes, such as a tour exploring mysteries of the Qing Dynasty, a tour of local museums, and a tour of attractions to keep tourists out of the summer heat.
