High-speed rail safety bolstered
Chinese railway operators are paying close attention to ensure complete safety of high-speed railways this winter. In response to falling temperatures, Taiyuan High-speed Railway Engineering Section has made meticulous inspection and repair efforts, addressing possible defects caused by low temperatures, and ensuring the absolute safety of HSR lines. By analyzing the changing patterns of rail performance, the section has clarified risk levels and shortened the inspection cycle and flaw-detection cycle for key locations. It has also bolstered the quality upgrade of track equipment and taken multiple measures to ensure the stability of the track structure.
