Experts sent to Peru to help curtail coronavirus

A team of four medical experts departed from Guangzhou, Guangdong province, in a chartered plane bound for Peru on Friday to help the South American country fight the coronavirus epidemic.
All the experts came from Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University and have different specialties, the provincial health commission said.
The specialists are Guo Yi (public health management), Liu Laiyu (respiratory and critical medicine), Wu Yongming (neurology and critical medicine) and Zhou Hao (hospital infection control).
The team is the fourth group to be sent overseas from Guangdong province to help with the fight against the epidemic. Other teams were sent to Serbia, Iraq and Malaysia.
