Allen to attend Brits on advice of father

Lily Allen has decided to attend next week's Brit Awards, on the advice of her father Keith.

The singer has been nominated for four categories in total, but was considering boycotting the ceremony for fear of leaving without an award.

However, having spoken to her father, Allen is now ready to attend the event, to be held at Earl's Court next Wednesday (February 14).

The Sun reports that Keith told her: "It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing to be nominated for four Brits - you must go and have a good time."
