Shanghai International Arts Festival rings down the curtain

Ding Wei, deputy minister of Culture, delivered a speech at the closing performance. He described the festival as the largest and most influential international arts festival in Asia, as well as a carnival that everyone can enjoy.

The 17th China Shanghai International Arts Festival presented 46 sets and 93 scene performances, 60 percent of which come from the repertoires of Arts Festival, including music, dance and drama. Moreover, nearly one thousand acts of Rising Artists' Works program and The Rising Artists Innovation Week attracted more than 4 million people to participate in activities, fully embodying the theme of Good Programs Gathering and Benefiting the Public.
