Ink works charity sale

Chinese ink artist Xu Jinping is having a charity exhibition at Ailing Foundation at Bund18. Money raised from sale of all the artwork will go to medical and educational funding for disadvantaged children. A charity auction will take place during the show, and educational sessions on ink art will also be given.

Mixed up with action

Landscape of the Heart is the debut exhibition of Su Dongping. About 20 paintings are on show, all oil and mixed media on canvas or acrylic on plastic board. Su's "action paintings" are full of rich contradictions and feelings, consisting of thick impasto layered with raw images and a combination of compact and expansive brushwork.
