Radical students in Hong Kong were busy making gasoline bombs, catapults and bamboo arrows on university campuses, which the city's police said on Wednesday were being turned into weapons factories.
Hong Kong lawmaker and Executive Council member Regina Ip told China Daily that the masterminds behind the city's escalating violence are in fact planning to intimidate voters so that they could have a landslide win in the upcoming District Council Election.
