A draft of the environmental code that national legislators will deliberate during the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress is expected to make China's environmental legislation more systematic, integrated, coordinated, and responsive, according to Lou Qinjian, the session's spokesman, who spoke at a press conference on Wednesday.

Shan Chongxin, a member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee and vice-president of Zhengzhou University, said in an exclusive interview with China Daily that the university will further strengthen cooperation with enterprises to speed up the real-world application of its research.
"Hong Kong has great potential to become a really attractive hub for international education," said John Lee Chi-kin, a member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee and president of the Education University of Hong Kong.
