Zhang Linlin and Li Pengfei are senior students at Henan University of Science and Technology. They opened the Oak Selfie Studio in Luoyang, Central China's Henan province in August, with an initial investment of 50,000 yuan ($8,173.41).

"We are different from other studios. We just provide a platform, while customers take photos of what they wish, making up their own minds. Photographers can be themselves," said co-owner Zhang. The studio charges 98 yuan an hour and all photos are copied to customers, said Li. Beside the self-service studio, props and costumes are also available.
