More than 70 foreign guests from 23 countries and regions took part in the Spring Festival blessing event for foreign representatives, jointly held by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Jing'an district government on Feb 3, 2026. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The guests — including representatives of foreign trade delegations, consulates, and senior executives of multinational corporations — enjoyed performances themed around Chinese traditional culture, ranging from traditional musical instruments to traditional operas and acrobatics.

The foreign representatives were also invited to have a city walk at Jing'an district's century-old Shikumen complex along the Suzhou Creek.
