Xi says China-Vietnam tradition of notifying respective major political agendas exemplifies strong mutual trust

BEIJING -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese president, met with Le Hoai Trung, special envoy of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam, on Wednesday in Beijing.
The CPC and the CPV have maintained the fine tradition of reciprocal notification of their respective major political agendas, a practice that embodies the unique and friendly bond of comrades and brothers of the two countries, as well as their strong political mutual trust, Xi said to Trung, who is a member of the Political Bureau of the CPV Central Committee and the minister of foreign affairs of Vietnam.
