Fujian offers subsidy for Taiwan residents opening Shaxian restaurants
To further support Taiwan employment, Sanming plans to annually provide free vocational skills training to 200 young Taiwan individuals. The training will cover 14 categories, including Shaxian snacks and tea artistry.
To promote snack exchanges, a two-day event was held in Taipei in November 2024, where Shaxian chefs prepared 65,000 servings of classic snacks, attracting over 40,000 Taiwan residents.
In May, the first Shaxian snack flagship store opened in Taoyuan, with eight other stores later opening in Taipei, New Taipei, and other cities.
In November, an exchange tour was held across five cities in Taiwan, featuring salon discussions and skills exchanges to foster connections between people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait through the shared enjoyment of delicious food.
