Operators enhance power facilities

Chinese power grid operators have introduced innovative measures to enhance electricity facilities. In East China's Fujian province, power facility builders are building the Tingzhou (Longxi) 500 kilovolt transmission line to strengthen regional power supply and optimize the energy structure. As a key regional power grid facility, the project faces multiple challenges, as it traverses expressways, railways and several existing power lines, requiring extensive external coordination and high-quality building capabilities. As construction is further complicated by scattered work sites and alternating heavy rain and extreme heat, State Grid Fujian Construction Co has directed all builders to verify that every parameter and tolerance level meet design requirements.

Value of tax refund goods soars

Shanghai has seen a significant surge in the value of goods that underwent verification for tax refunds in the first eight months of this year, according to local Customs. The total value of tax refund goods reached 2.07 billion yuan ($290 million), marking an 83 percent increase year-on-year.
