China and Solomon Islands strengthen security cooperation

"Security cooperation between China and the Solomon Islands primarily aims to enhance the domestic security of the Solomon Islands, while also contributing to regional and global security," Jimson Fiau Tanangadu, Minister of the Solomon Islands' Police, National Security and Correctional Services, said on the sidelines of the 2025 Conference of the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province, on Tuesday.
