With growing passenger traffic, China Customs at Shanghai Pudong International Airport streamlined tax refund processing through self-service terminals and simplified packaging checks.
Customs report that currently, for 300-passenger flights, the clearance time for customs procedures has been reduced to under 30 minutes - a 50-percent efficiency improvement, with tax refund verification now taking only seconds per transaction.
