Heavy floods in Gansu province kill 15, 28 missing

Floods caused by recent heavy rains in Yuzhong county, Gansu province, have claimed 15 people, left 28 people missing, and injured 15 others, local authorities said on Sunday. More than 30,000 people have been affected by the disaster.

Rescue operations were quickly launched by central and local governments. with the Northwest National Emergency Rescue Center's logistics and support team playing a vital role in providing food, medical supplies, and other assistance to frontline responders.
