To protect marine fishery resources in the South China Sea, China has implemented an annual fishing ban since 1999, ranging around two to three months every year. With the fishing ban in the South China Sea coming to an end this year, fishermen from Fujian, Guangdong, and Hainan provinces and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region are pouring into the ocean to resume fishing. Watch the video to learn more about China's effort in this area.
