The State Council recently released a notice to optimize the nation's policy on stabilizing employment.

Under the terms of the notice, State-owned companies are encouraged to expand their recruitment campaigns this year and government bodies should offer more vacancies to college graduates.

At least one million internship positions will be collected from companies, government organs and social organizations this year, and these positions will be available to young job-seekers with living allowances and insurance.

Companies hiring college students who graduated within the past two years or those young laid-off aged between 16 to 24 will be given financial incentives through Dec 31.

Moreover, the nation will give supportive measures to college graduates and migrant workers to help them start their own businesses with lower investment and risks. College graduates are also encouraged to take grassroots jobs, with positions in remote areas in central and northwest provinces given higher salaries or preferential treatment in promotion.
