Spokesman appointed for 14th CPPCC National Committee

Guo Weimin will serve as spokesman for the first session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference announced on Wednesday. The session will begin on Saturday.
Guo was spokesman for the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC from 2018 to 2022, and has performed the same role for the State Council Information Office and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Guo is the 15th spokesperson for the CPPCC National Committee since the establishment of the post in 1983.
