First China-Arab States Summit opens

The first China-Arab States Summit took place in the afternoon of Dec 9 at King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center in Saudi capital Riyadh.
In his opening speech, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud said the relationship between Arab states and China is based on mutual respect in all fields.
The summit opened soon after the conclusion of the China-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit at the same venue.
