China's Zhejiang reports 60 local COVID-19 cases

HANGZHOU -- East China's Zhejiang province registered 60 confirmed locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases and 38 asymptomatic cases between Dec 5 and 3 pm Saturday, amid the latest resurgence of the virus.
The cases were reported in the cities of Ningbo, Shaoxing and Hangzhou, according to a provincial government press conference on Saturday.
The three cities have imposed restrictions on public activities as part of anti-COVID-19 measures to contain the spread.
Services have been suspended at theaters, internet cafes, libraries, museums and similar public venues in Ningbo. Shaoxing has also announced the temporary closure of its internet cafes and other entertainment venues.
