Cutting-edge patrol ship opens up deep sea and beyond
Haixun 09 is equipped with a Beidou and other advanced satellite systems, an intelligent engine room system, intelligent law enforcement water cannon system, rescue boats, photoelectric tracking and forensics system. It can carry multiple types of helicopters and conduct rescue and maritime search operations.
With a marine data center, digital trunking and other means of communication, the vessel comes with a number of capabilities, from dynamic perception, monitoring and early warning, to information collection, integrated command and maritime supervision, among other abilities.
It has a global rescue function, which will help China contribute more to international affairs, promote exchanges and visits with maritime departments of countries and regions around the world, effectively enhance mutual communication and trust and expand consensus and cooperation, authorities said in a statement.
The vessel is of great significance to effectively ensuring the smooth transportation of strategic materials and the safety of important shipping channels, realizing the stability of the international logistics supply chain and the high-quality development of the shipping industry, as well as safeguarding China's maritime rights and interests.
