BEIJING -- China's State Council announced the appointment and removal of officials on Wednesday.
Fu Hua was appointed as editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency.
Pei Wentian was appointed as deputy head of the National Mine Safety Administration.
He Ping no longer serves as editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency.
