BEIJING -- The China Association for Science and Technology Monday announced that it would construct a batch of scientific innovation hubs in the next three years.
The program is based on a scientific innovation platform launched in 2020 to promote deeper integration of science and technology with the economy. They selected the first batch of 26 pilot cities and science parks in 2020.
The CAST will build a group of innovation hubs as an industrial driving force by 2023, according to the innovation platform plan released on Monday.
The platform would also focus on vital industries such as electronic information, equipment manufacturing, and biomedicine and promote leading enterprises to pioneer innovation hub development.
