China mulls new law on fighting organized crimes

BEIJING -- Chinese lawmakers Tuesday started deliberating an anti-organized crime law as the country seeks to institutionalize its ongoing efforts to root out gang crimes.
The draft law was submitted to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, for the first reading.
