Vice minister removed from post following probe

BEIJING - The State Council, China's cabinet, on Friday announced that Li Jinzao has been removed from the post of vice minister of culture and tourism.
The Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission said in July that Li was being investigated for suspected serious violations of discipline and law.
