Hong Kong lawmakers support enactment of national security law for HK

Hong Kong lawmaker Kenneth Lau voiced support for the enactment of a national security law for Hong Kong, saying that the city has become "a weak link" in national security.
The chairman of the Heung Yee Kuk, a statutory advisory body representing the indigenous inhabitants of the New Territories, believed the law will help restore peace and stability to the city.
