Gao drives more than 161 kilometers on his scooter to fulfill 40 to 70 orders every day. Only weeks ago, the epidemic spreading all around him.
On the third day after Beijing launched its Level 1 public health emergency response, Gao received an order that required him to fetch medicine from a hospital designated for coronavirus patients.
He admitted he hesitated for a second, but then picked up the order because he thought the customer might be in dire need.
