Three suspects nabbed for homicide 28 years ago

Three suspects believed to be responsible for a homicide in Shanghai 28 years ago have been seized in East China’s Shandong province, police said on March 28.
Shanghai police said in a news release that the three suspects were arrested in the provincial capital city of Jinan on March 17, and as college students they visited Shanghai, where they conducted a burglary for being short of money.
On July 26, 1991, they snuck into an unlocked apartment in a neighborhood on Wukang Road in Shanghai’s Xuhui district, and in the process of the burglary attacked a 63-year-old woman and an 8-year-old boy.
Two watches and one video game console were taken away. The woman died in the hospital and the boy suffered severe injuries.
