Chinese president appoints new ambassadors

BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping has appointed two new ambassadors in accordance with a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement by the national legislature Monday.
Wang Yingwu was appointed China's ambassador to Cameroon, replacing Wei Wenhua.
Wang Shiting was appointed ambassador to Ghana, replacing Sun Baohong.
