Xu Ganlu was appointed vice minister of Public Security and the head of the State Immigration Administration.

Wang Hong was appointed chief of the State Oceanic Administration.

Nie Chenxi was appointed head of the State Administration of Radio and Television.

Liu Jieyi was appointed director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, replacing Zhang Zhijun.

Xie Fuzhan was appointed president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, replacing Wang Weiguang.

Shen Haixiong was appointed president of the Central Station for Radio and Television.

Guo Shuqing was appointed chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.

Zhang Jianlong was appointed director of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration.

Fu Zhenghua is no longer vice minister of Public Security.
