Discovery Channel makes documentary on Guizhou

GUIZHOU -- The Discovery Channel has started filming a documentary on Southwest China's Guizhou province.
A ceremony was held on Thursday to mark the start of shooting. The documentary, being produced by Discovery Networks Asia Pacific, will have four episodes, each lasting 22 minutes.
Guizhou is known for its Karst landforms and beautiful scenery including mountains, waterfalls and canyons. It is also home to 17 minority groups and a pioneer of China's big data development.
The documentary "Only in Guizhou" will focus on stories of both the traditional and modern sides of Guizhou.
Filming is expected to be finished by August 2018. The documentary will air before December 2018.
