China reshuffles 84 corps-level military units

BEIJING -- Reshuffling China's armed forces with 84newly adjusted or established corps-level units is another major step in strengthening the country's armed forces, according to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Xi, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks while meeting chief military officers Tuesday in Beijing.
