Melvin D. Mcmullen, a Flying Tigers veteran, finds his photo displayed on the wall at the Flying Tigers Memorial Hall in Kunming on Sunday. The American Volunteer Group, dubbed the Flying Tigers by the Chinese for their courage, was formed in 1941 under the leadership of US General Claire Lee Chennault to help China drive the Japanese from the skies.
