Wall Street rally sends S&P to record high

NEW YORK - US stocks continued to rise on Tuesday, with the Standard & Poor's 500-stock Index setting new all-time high and main stock indices ending the month higher, boosted by upbeat housing data, consumer confidence and rising tech shares.
The Dow nearly inched up 0.1 percent, and the S&P 500 added 0.3 percent while the Nasdaq rose 0.7 percent.
