Singapore launches YOG commemorative stamps

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee (SYOGOC) said Monday that it will be launching four Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (Singapore 2010) stamps to commemorate the first-ever Youth Olympic Games (YOG).
The stamps come in a set of four designs of the Singapore 2010 Mascots, Lyo and Merly, in poses featuring the Culture and Education Program (CEP) and Singapore 2010 sports.
The four stamps are valued at 0.26 Singapore dollar(1 Singapore dollar equals about US$0.73), 0.65 Singapore dollar, 1.10 Singapore dollars and 2 Singapore dollars respectively. The complete set of stamps is also available in an attractive presentation pack of 5.90 Singapore dollars which includes a write-up about Singapore 2010.
The YOG will take place in the city-state from August 14 to 26.
