NASA calls off shuttle Discovery's Monday landing

WASHINGTON - U.S. space shuttle Discovery's scheduled Monday landing has been waved off due to cloudy weather around Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA said.
The next landing opportunity for Discovery and its seven astronauts will be 7:33 a.m. (1133 GMT) Tuesday, the U.S. space agency said. Edwards Air Force Base in California also is expected to be called up for Tuesday landing opportunities.
Discovery had been scheduled to land at the Kennedy Space Center on Monday after a resupply mission to the International Space Station.
Discovery delivered eight tons of supplies and equipment to the station, including spare bunks for the occupants of the space station, a large tank of ammonia coolant and seven racks filled with science experiments.
Discovery's mission is the 33rd shuttle mission to the station. Three flights to the station remain before the shuttles retire in 2010.
