Asian Youth Orchestra has over 100 members, all of whom were selected strictly. They meet for six weeks every summer. Led by the music director of the Orchestra and internationally renowned conductors, they give concert tours together with famous artists. Over the past decade, the orchestra has cooperated with well-known cellists like Yo-Yo Ma, Mischa Maisky and Julian Lloyd Webber, well-known violinists like Gidon Kremer, Gil Shaham, Lin Zhaoliang and the legendary Beaux Arts Trio. Yehudi Menuhin, Lukas Foss, Alexander Schneider, Eri Klas, Huang Dade and Sergiu Comissiona have conducted the orchestra.
