The Courtyard Institute introduces children to shadow puppets in an accessible, fun way. Kids will learn how to use shadow puppets and explore their imagination, play with light, shadows and perspective, creating a memorable experience in the process. The theater begins at 11 am with a short introduction. The participants then break into small groups to create a shadow-puppet play, using their own stories. Shadow puppetry is an ancient form of storytelling and entertainment, using thin cutout figures held between a source of light and a translucent screen..
