Large Medium SmallTianshan Gorge Resort is 40 kilometers away from Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. It concentrates forests, valleys, lakes, grasslands and glaciers, welcoming about 300,000 visitors a year.
If you are lucky enough to encounter a herder and his sheep, feel free to stop and have some random chat with him. Be sure to take some photos as well.
