China's Health Ministry has reported eleven new confirmed cases of A/H1N1 flu. This brings the total number of cases on the Chinese mainland to 111, as of 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

The eleven cases were reported in six provincial regions, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong. Among the 111 confirmed cases, 58 patients have been discharged from hospital.

There have been no reports of deaths from A/H1N1 flu on the Chinese mainland, the Ministry of Health said.

Worldwide, the new influenza strain has been found in 73 countries and regions, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO labs have confirmed 26,563 cases including 140 people who have died.
