A mistaken-printed banknote might be worth over 500,000 yuan

A woman in Chongqing accidentally received a banknote with face value of 50 yuan ($8.40) six years ago while shopping and has kept it ever since. Recently an auction company evaluated the banknote, saying it has a market value of 500,000 yuan based on its condition, reported Chongqing Economics Times on Monday.

It is claimed the mistaken-printed banknote was printed with many blank lines. Despite the high estimate, its true value won't be settled until after auction.
