Longji Terraces [Photo/Agencies]

The Longji Terraces are located in Longsheng county about 80 kilometers from Guilin. These terraces are built into the hillsides, with the construction making best use of arable lands and water resources in mountainous areas. The Terraces have been built since the Yuan Dynasty and completed in the Qing Dynasty by the people of Zhuang ethnic group.

The coiling line starts from the mountain foot to the mountain top, and divides the whole mountain into different layers which can take on different images with corresponding features as seasons change.
