Deng Suqiang was born in Huaian city of Jiangsu province. Her uncle first discovered her talent for painting when she was a young child. She later studied with famed painter Zhang Nong. Her strength is flower and bird painting, especially the plum blossom.
In 2010, she started to learn from Chinese traditional painting master Huo Chunyang in his studio.
Deng's works feature simple lines, natural light ink and rich colors. She has integrated the vigor and delight in life with the flowers and birds she paints.
Many of her works have been selected into a number of high-level art shows.
Deng is a member of the Jiangsu Artists Association, secretary-general of Huaian Flower and Bird Painting Society and member of the Huo Chunyang Traditional Art Research Institute.
