After being out of public sight following his final retirement from the world of F1 at the end of last season, former king of car racing Michael Schumacher has gotten back behind the wheel of a Mercedes. The seven-time-world champ, taking part in a Mercedes event at the famed Nuerburgring in Germany.

Schumacher and current pilot Nico Rosberg were the guests of honour. The German star, getting back behind the wheel of a Formula One car for the first time since he left Mercedes at the end of last season. Schumacher and company took to the circuit as part of a high performance demonstration. Schumacher stated that the layout and the history of the Nuuerbrurging were what makes it so special...and Schumacher also addressed the current state of F1 and ongoing row over tires.
