Jinan: A swimmer from Guangdong province broke the national record in the Men's 200m individual medley at the 11th National Games held in Jinan, Shandong province on October 22.

Zhang Zishan swam to victory, clocking in at 1 minute and 58.53 seconds. Liu Weijia from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region won second place, followed by Liu Tao from the People's Liberation Army.
