Vietnam to participate in first Youth Olympics

Updated: 2008-11-05 17:29 HANOI -- Vietnam will send a squad to compete in the first Youth Olympic Games, which will take place in Singapore in August, 2010, Vietnam News Agency reported on Wednesday, citing source from the Vietnam Olympic Committee.
The games will include 26 events, mainly summer Olympic sports. About 5,000 young people aged from 14 to 18 from more than 200 countries and regions will take part in the games. |
