DOHA - Xu Xuan retained the women's 10 metre running target title to give dominant China their 11th Doha Asian Games shooting gold medal on Monday.

The 21-year-old stormed to victory with a 15-point margin over her main Kazakh rival Natalya Gurova while Vietnam's Dang Hong Na claimed bronze.

Kazakhstan captured their second shooting gold of the Games by topping the team competition through Gurova, Anna Pushkaryova and Juliya Berner.

Vietnam took silver while hosts Qatar opened their account in the medals table by earning bronze. China, with Xu their only shooter in the field, was not entered in the team event.
