Schumacher confident after record pole

His last real win was Japan in October 2004.
Ferrari have struggled this season, despite Schumacher starting on pole in the Bahrain season-opener in March to equal Senna's record.
He crashed in Australia after engine problems in Malaysia.
"We worked very hard, naturally -- because of our misfortune and the mistakes we made in the last weeks -- to make up ground and here we are," he said.
"We've made up significant ground. Obviously the race is important...but seeing where Fernando (Alonso) is it's great for us in terms of, first, strategy and hopefully result as well by the end of the race."
Renault's Alonso, the champion and overall leader 17 points clear of Schumacher, will start the race at Ferrari's home circuit in fifth place.
