Kwok's new nightmare

 Hong Kong actor Aaron Kwok (pictured) is so into his new character in the thriller Murderer (Zui Yu Fa) that he even dreamed about killing someone. Kwok plays a policeman who loses his short-term memory after he finds his partner killed beside him. Even worse, the evidence shows he's the killer. Kwok says the screenplay is the most creative he has seen in 10 years. He talked with many psychologists and retired policemen and visited real murderers in prisons. This upset him so much he even had dreams about killing someone. Rising to fame as a fresh-faced singer in the 1990s, Kwok has tried hard to be a quality actor and his reward, so far, is two Best Actor awards at Taiwan's Golden Horse Film Festival. The film premiered on Sunday. |
